Location Recce

For our soap trailer, we need a number of different locations around our area in our shots. This not only means the places where the drama concerning our characters unfolds but the establishing shots and other places littered throughout the trailer.

These places are:

• Winchmore School – the outside of the school to be used in one of the establishing shots and the interior (the business corridor and lockers there) the scene of Becky’s storyline with Laura, Luke and Erica. It is also the scene for Luke and Laura’s character introductions. 
• 44 New River Crescent and New River Crescent as a road – the house being the scene of Prince’s storyline concerning Lindsey and Vincent, and will also be the scene for their character introductions. The outside of it is also featured in Aaron’s storyline when Lindsey and Nicholas talk outside it. The road itself features in Aaron’s as well as Michael approaches Lindsey on it as she is heading towards her car. 
• Barrowell Green Open Space, also known as ‘the pit’ – this small common is close to the school and will be used in Leyla’s scene with Erica, Nicholas and Gemma. It will also be used for the character introduction for Erica Gemma and Nicholas. 
• Green Lanes – the main high street in Palmers Green where the sign for ‘palmers green town center’ is going to be one of the establishing shots. The fox pub located on Green Lanes will also be one of the establishing shots.
