Our Soap Opera Trailer 'Wayward Lane' has teenagers and young adults as it's target audience age. This is because with the soap opera revolving around the lives of teenagers and young adults living in an area, the ages of the audience watching needs to be the same to ensure a connection between them and the characters as well as
These are a few examples of people in our target audience:

These are a few photos of our current friends and schoolmates who are all around the teenage age in the photos and young adults today. these are the perfect people we were aiming our soap trailer at, as they would be able to connect with our characters, situations and settings the best, making our trailer very effective.
They would listen to pop, rock, rap and possibly house music, which is similar to the characters in our soap, and have interests in things like shopping, going to the cinema, do sports, go to the gym, surf the net and have fun. The interests and ideas - about what they like to do as well as what the future holds for them corresponds to the ideas and thoughts and feelings of the characters in our soap opera trailer.
They would probably watch the soap because the trailer is made to cater to their preferences as watchers and is packed full of things that would get them hooked on watching the show - such as the drama between Laura and Erica, the tension regarding Gemma's situation, and the enigmas surrounding Vincent and Lindsey's abusive relationship.
